Details	Hirayu Otaki, one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls (64m high, 6m wide). The waterfall, which flows down magnificently, transforms into a giant icicle with the arrival of the severe winter in late December. The majestic figure is illuminated, creating a fantastic world on winter nights. During the day, you can also experience the beauty of nature with the contrast of the grand icicles shining bluish-white and the snow. The suspension bridge over the Otakigawa River is also decorated with illuminations, creating an even more fantastic scenery. Events Fireworks in the Snow Date: February 15 (Wed) - 25 (Sat), every day during the event Launch Location: Around Hirayu Onsen Ski Resort Time: Around 8:00 PM (May be canceled due to bad weather or delayed depending on weather conditions.) Details: Fireworks will be held in the clear air under a starry sky. Nukutomari Bazaar Date: February 15 (Wed) - 25 (Sat), every day during the event Location: Hirayu Otaki Bazaar Venue Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Details: Zenzai, Amazake Free Shuttle Bus Service Period: February 15 (Wed) - 25 (Sat), every day during the event Location: Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal ⇔ Ankoya-mae Ice Festival Venue Entrance During the illumination hours, a dedicated shuttle bus (free) will run between Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal and Ankoya-mae Ice Festival Venue Entrance. ※ Departure from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal: First bus at 7:00 PM, last at 8:15 PM Departure from Ankoya-mae: Last at 9:15 PM ※ It takes about 25 minutes on foot from Ankoya-mae Ice Festival Entrance to the Otaki Venue. Please come with cold weather protection.
